Towards the end of last year pupils in Pr 4/5, Pr 5/6 and Pr 7 took home a daffodil bulb they had planted. They had to look after it and take them back once they were flowering!
Primary 4/5 took advantage of this by drawing and painting the daffodils they grew at home. Here you can see the results of their hard work!

We have had a lovely display of daffodils which we have been growing at home since December. We asked our families and friends to sponsor us and we will be sending the money away to Marie Curie Cancer Support in the next 2 weeks. Thank you to all who have already donated.
On the daffodil theme, we drew and painted a daffodil as an art activity in observation. The results were super and we have a beautiful wall display of the finished paintings with photos of the children.
Here are some of the photos.
