Fun in the snow!

Pupils had great fun out in the snowy playground today at lunchtime.

Here is the profuct of one groups efforts! Well done!

Fun in The Secret Garden

Pupils from the nursery had great fun in The Secret Garden on Wednesday. They spent the session outdoors and played in the snow and had a great snack of warm soup while they were there. They saw the 'Flat Stanley' snowman made by P1/2 and decided to make their own.

School Handbook

In the lead up to the end of the year schools were required to revise and update their school handbooks in light of new regulations laid out by the Scottish Government. These new handbooks are available online on the Aberdeenshire Council website - although to date our one has not appeared on it as yet. We have requested that the new handbook is included as soon as possible. The link below would take you to the details for Strichen School.

Happy New Year from Everyone at Strichen School

                         
We would like to wish everyone a Happy New year from all at Strichen School. We look forward to another excitng new year in school and hope that everyone is back ready to work very hard until Easter.

The photo below was taken at our Christmas service which was held on the last day of the term and was alovely way to finish before the holidays. Thanks to the Rev. Fothergill for allowing us to visit the church for the service.
