Primary 6 have recently completed their Cycle Scotland training sessions. As a reward for their hard work we went on a bike run through ther village and up the railway line from The Lake. It was a lovely day and 18 pupils and 8 adults set off. After a couple of technical glitches on two bikes and one pupil not feeling well we were soon making our way along the railway line. We made it as far as the New Deer road before turning round and coming back to the lake where we had our lunch before heading off back to school. It was a great trip and we think everyone enjoyed it!
We would like to thank the volunteers who have given up two mornings per week for this term to carry out the cycle training with the pupils.
