On Wednesday the 29th of February 2012 there was a P6 an Enterprise Day at Mintlaw Academy for P6 pupils.
The five lucky schools that got rid of their P6s for a day were:
- Strichen (obviously)
- Pitfour
- Mintlaw
- New Pitsligo and
- Fishie
The theme was The London 2012 Olympics. We could make badges, mascots, flags, key rings, medals and postcards. We had until break to think of a company name, logo and slogan. The team with the most profit was called ‘S.C.L.D.R.T.N.M.Z.R’ ( that was all of the team’s initials) which included two Strichen Primary 6’s Lucy and Daniel who made £283.00. The runners up and the team with the best quality item were called the Running Robots! They had £255.00 and that team included Beth and Scott.
It was a really fun day and everyone enjoyed themselves and we’d love to go back and do it all over again. Congratulations to the winning team!
By Beth and Lucy!
