P6/7 used recycled Christmas cards to make their 2012 calendar.
We drew 5cm circles with a compass then we used a pentagon template to trace in the circle.
Next we used the compass to trace the lines of the pentagon to point the flaps up.
Then we made 6 of them, glued on the calendar tabs.
We repeated it and glued them together too and we made a calendar.
Dodecahedron is the name of the 3D shape we made. It has 12 sides.
