The whole school went on a trip to Fraserburgh to see a performance by the Watoto Children's Choir. The choir is from Uganda and are here trying to raise funds for projects back in their hoe country. The choir is made up of orphans who had been saved from a life off destitution and hardship. Their parents all had died from Aids and these children were among some of the lucky ones to be given a second chance by being taken in to live in the home they do.
The children sang and danced for four schools who had gone to see this performance. They were absolutely amazing - their singing and dancing was full of energy and enthusiasm and the children were so happy to be part of that schooland the choir. They amazed their audience for an hour and at the end of it the classes all got the opportunity to go up and get their photo taken with the choir.
