We talked about road safety and in particular the need to wear bright clothes now that the nights are becoming darker. We discussed in small groups the need to stay on the pavement, always cross in a safe place and know exactly how to get to your destination. We decided that you shouldn’t run across the road, use a mobile phone while crossing the road, wear dark clothes, go out on your own at night and walk where there are no streetlights.

At this time of year it is very important to be reminded about the importance of being seen clearly when you are coming to school or going home from school. Each class has worked on aspects of Road Safety at the start of this term to get this message across to all our pupils.
