Class one were delighted this week when they had a visit from a 'hearing dog'. Bobby is specially trained to listen for his owner so they know if someone comes to the door or the telephone rings.
Here are some of the stories they wrote after the visit.
ETHAN
'Our surprise visitor today was Bobby the hearing dog. Bobby listens for jean and helps her to hear. He is very clever.'
LIA
'Today we had a visitor. It was a dog and his name is Bobby. Bobby is a hearing dog and if the fire alarm went off Bobby would wake jean up.'
JACK
Today we saw a hearing dog. His name was Bobby. He helps Jean to answer the phone. He was amazing.'
