Well, another week has come and gone - but this has been another busy week!
All the classes have been preparing for the Christmas Fair next week(the 5th of December from 4.00 - 5.30pm) and we are sure next week will be even busier as they try and finish all their products for their stalls.
Class 5 have been doing an enterprise project and they are working to produce a CD of Christmas songs sung by each class. Recordings of the two songs from each class were made on Wednesday and Friday. Next week we will need to burn over 100 copies of the disc and then get the covers etc all ready.
On Friday we also had a visit from two magicians who put on a wonderful show of magic but with a road safety theme. By the end of it the children were all shouting out the four magic words they had to remember - STOP, LOOK, LISTEN and THINK. They were amazed by the magic tricks they saw and the two men put on a very entertaining and funny show which also had a serious message. If you want to find out more about them log on to their website - www.allansmagic.co.uk .
On Thursday we celebrated St Andrew's day with a special assembly. We asked each class to think of ten reasons why Scotland is a great place to live and grow up in and also for each class to make a list of the ten best Scots words they could come up with. Some of the children playedmusical instruments, Class 1 did some doric speaking and at the end they joined in with a sing a long to The Proclaimers '500 Miles.
