Today the nursery class had great fun in the Secret Garden. They spent the whole session outside and had great fun as well as learning about lots of different things they found! They were building, setting up a camp and even helped Mrs hendry tidy the nursery garden box. Look at the album '-0910 Nursery garden' for more pictures.
In P 1/2 the boys and girls are encouraged to be responsible citizens by following our Golden Rules. If they follow the Golden Rules all week then on Friday they enjoy the reward of 30 minutes of Golden Time.
There are special toys and activities which they can choose duringGolden Time.
Jasmin enjoys the Zed Bugs as tey are lots of fun!
Kaitlyn and Saffron set upa playdough cafe.
Callum and Josh made lots of noise playing Hungry Hippos.
Jenna got lots of exercise on the hamster wheel!
Meira and Alissa worked together to set up the house.
Zach, Louise, Millie, Amelia, Ruth,Georgia and Nadine chose the drawing table forGolden Time.
Matthew, Henry and Ben were really excited scoring gols on the table football.

Miss Clark's Primary 6 class were lucky recently to be visited by an expert on volcanos! They found out all about rocks, lava and what makes a volcano erupt. They even made a model volcano in the class. Look at the album to see more photos! (-09/10 Volcano)

Mrs Veitch's class organised their second 'Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning' and today and they have so far raised over £300 for all their hard work and effort. Over 80 people came along and had coffee, home bakes and took part in a variety of activities organised by the children. Look out for their report soopn on the blog. We are delighted that Andy and Ruth regularly come to school to take assemblies. The pupils get the chance to sing some great songs, hear stories and get the opportunity to think about lots of different things. One of their favourite parts is when Freddie appears and speaks to them and sings a song. Everyone loves Andy & Ruth's assemblies.

Here we can see our new nursery class out in the nursery play area at Strichen School. They have really settled in well and are always very busy and have lots of fun!
